Vitamin A-the eyesight savior

Getting into the topics of vitamins, lets start Vitamin A, an obvious choice in accordance to the law of alphabets. To choose between Vitamin A can be found from supplements and food sources, what comes from the nature is always better though.
Why do we need vitamin A in our diets? Here's why:-
  • Contributes to better tissue oxygenation.
  • Improves tissue in cell walls stability.
  • Aids in secretion of gastric juices and protein digestion.
  • Promotes growth and vitality.
  • Helps maintain testicular tissues.
  • Essential for pregnancy and lactation.
  • Nourishes skin and hair.
  • Prevents eye diseases.
  • Keeps mucous membranes and linings healthy.
  • Required for visual pigment synthesis.
  • A cancer restrainer.
So,which foods contains this particular vitamin?
  • Colored fruits and veggies.(red, orange, greens) including tomatoes, squashes, green leafy veggies, kale, spinach, yam, melons.peaches, apricots, nectarines and sweet potatoes.
  • Eggs.
  • Whole milk.
  • Fish liver oil.
  • Honey and Bee pollen
We can try to fill up our diets with Vitamin A-rich foods, but with the exposure to pollution and processes, the nutrients in your food are at risk of loss,so sometimes it's better to fortify your diet with health supplements, if you're confused in making choices, I'd suggest the YK Bee Pollen, mention in one of my previous articles, free radicals and supplements, this supplement provides the body with all nutrients needed and most important it's safe with no added preservatives or substances.
