Eating your way towards Healthy Skin

Before I start, I'd like to suggest you read the three articles I wrote on skin care, Caring for your skin , pamper your skin day and night and beauty skin tips:exfoliating.

When eating, do we ever consider foods that makes our skin looks and feels better? Well, we should because what goes into our body effects the body wholly including the skin. Here are the suggested foods that could possibly enhance the skin's youthfulness, glow and health.

1.Honey
One great gift for us, available naturally complete with all sorts of nourishment for our well being and heals wounds effectively. Honey contains all essential nutrients needed for skin health and the whole body, so, whatever you choose to pick from the store, I suggest don't miss out on honey.
It dampens inflammation, prevents bacterial and viral infection, clears up ulcers, soft on the stomach and induce sleep.
Can also be used for facial masks and cleanser.

2.Sweet Potato and Carrots
These lovely orange tubers(is it?) or roots.. are full of antioxidants and beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A when it gets inside the body. It helps to shed off old skin and stimulates new healthy skin cells growth, giving our skin a softer texture, refreshed feeling and resistant to irritants.
Also containing fiber and antioxidants to help flush out toxins out of your cells, cleanse the liver and prevents premature aging.

3.Berries & Plums
Berries comes with  collagen and packed with antioxidants, preventing premature aging and keeps the skin supple while plums contains antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that are easily absorbed and used by the body to enhance the skin's appearance.

4.Spinach, Broccoli and Dark green leafy veggies
The high content of antioxidants, vitamins(A,C,K,B complex),minerals, amino acids and omega 3 that contains in these  vegetables preserves skin's youth and healthy glow, as well as reducing blemishes, acne and treat various skin problems.

5.Grapefruit
To tall you the truth, I don't eat grapefruit. My tongue just won't tolerate it's taste, however if you too have a problem with eating grape fruit, I suggest you juice it with lots of oranges and apples to hide it's taste, with this you can gain it's benefit and the other fruits as well.
Or there is another solution, cut it into small cubes and toss it into a bowl of fruit salad.
Grapefruits are capable of calming down pimple breakouts, balancing congested and oily skin, and it also tones the skin and it's cells. So, grapefruit is good, eat it.

6.Walnuts and salmon -What do these two have in common?
Omega 3!These two are rich with essential fatty acids, that are beneficial for skin health.
As these fatty acids makes up cells membranes and retain moisture within cells to keep them hydrated all day long and keeps the skin baby-smooth 24/7.
Eat them as snacks, toss them is salads, make sandwiches and add them into your cereal, cookies and cakes.

7.Kiwi Fruit
Kiwi contains high levels of vitamin C, which I bet most of us know that vitamin C is widely used in skin beauty solutions, and yes it does keeps the skin firm and healthy.

**Note;(Please do not take Vitamin C injections, the naturally exists ones are always far more better than man-made products, especially because man-made are imperfect and could be accompanied with harmful side-effect)
