How do you sleep?

Are you having enough sleep? Are you sleeping well? Are you sleeping at the right hours? I did wrote on sleep in my article, sleep like a baby . However, I'd like to mention this topic once more as I think not many of our eyes are open to why is it so important to get; 1)enough sleep, 2)sleep at the right time 3)benefits of sleeping. I know, understand and experience it myself, deprivation of sleeping. But, I hope to sleep better in the future, I sure you hope to do so too. The long hours of unachievable sleep will take a toll on our health. Have you ever wonder why we have day and night? Good morning to all. Have you brushed your teeth this morning? Well, I am not going to write about brushing your teeth, as we all know brushing is essential to keep the teeth clean and eliminate the food residues stuck in between our teeth. Bad mouth odor is the cause of endless breeds of bacteria, improper oral cleansing and trapped food particles inside the mouth, however sometimes it is the result of a disease, for example sinusitis, blood, lungs and gastrointestinal problems. But brushing has it's limits, and there are deep loop holes where the brush cannot reach, this is why mouthwash are available, as these mouthwash are in liquid form, they can seep into hidden areas where we can or cannot see. And when they do make their way into these hidden places, they bring out the bacteria and whatever that's been sitting in our mouth and deterioration our oral hygiene. Who says eating chocolates are bad? They are not that evil. Good news! They are safe to eat and they benefit our health! SO, lets rejoice and eat more of the good stuff! But maybe moderation is better. When picking out for chocolates, remember, be aware, not all chocolates are therapeutic. Choose the pure chocolates, that's where the good stuff are at, the ones mixed with all sorts of preservatives and additives are surely to be sweeter yet less of nutrition. One important note; chocolates are not the cause of pimples.(Acne are the cause of bad eating habits, a constipated colon, improper facial cleansing, hormone factors and emotional imbalances) Picking the right chocolate--> Dark chocolate. At this moment, the only chocolate I know that makes a positive outcome on our health is dark chocolate. Recipe time; Chocolate Chip Cookies

Okay, time for a simple recipe. And this has got to be one of the most fancied recipe ever- Chocolate chip cookies! Yummy and yumm yumm..hmm eating chocolate chip cookies brings me back to the days when I was just a little girl. Hmm.. Moving on with the recipe: Ingredients (makes about 40 regular sized cookies); 3 cups of all-purpose flour 1 and 1/2 baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 and 1/2 cups of unsalted butter 4 cups brown sugar a cup of chopped walnuts 2 large eggs A bag of chocolate chips 2 teaspoon of vanilla extract **add raisins if you like. Method; Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius. Whisk together baking soda, flour and salt, put aside. In another bowl, mix together butter and sugar till fluffy. Add eggs,walnuts, chocolate chips and vanilla, mix thoroughly. Next add the flour mixture and slowly mix all the ingredients together. Scoop out the dough with a tablespoon, drop onto baking trays. Wait till golden brown , take them out, let cool first before s

When eating, do we ever consider foods that makes our skin looks and feels better? Well, we should because what goes into our body effects the body wholly including the skin. The salat In the religion of Islam, salat is a compulsory task, done 5 times daily. For us Muslim, we do fast in the whole month of ramadhan, not 24/7. Starts after dawn until dusk, then we are entitled for a break. There are also other types of fasting, such as water-fast, fruit-fast and juice-fast. But the most beneficial fasting is the one which is the one where you hold yourself from ant drinks and food between dawn and dusk. When fasting  it is more than just holding yourself from food, you are holding back on anger, desire, lust and envy. For if you are merely just starving yourself and lose your temper, your hunger is a waste. Nothing is gained. So, it is a very lovely for the terms of fasting, to hold back all bad feelings and eating. It's a cleanse for the body and the soul. But it is advisable to avoid big fishes as they may be tainted up to a certain degree due to the oil-spills in the ocean these days. It is said that the best choice of fishes would be the ones in moderate size, softest meat, lives in fresh water that flows, those which eat plants and the ones with scales, the finer the better as the scales filters out harmful substances that tries to go into the body of the fish. We do need to feed ourselves daily, so while we're at it why not make it a worthy feed. Eat good food that nourishes the body, not the food that deteriorates the body, you may think indulging yourself is what matters the most but once you fall sick, you are sure to appreciate the health you once got. Relax, healthy eating isn't all bland and boring, in fact it could taste way better than junk food! (mind over matter?) And after reading this terrific book , I've realized there's so much of knowledge that is still far from my grasps. Smoking = Suicide?

I have nothing against smokers(or do I) but as for myself, I rather not smoke(I am a lady,and ladies don't smoke, I mean shouldn't smoke..or they'll surely look ridiculously horrible more than their other half when they do so..no offense..). What are the reasons smokers smoke anyway? Sometimes I just don't get it. Some say it reduces stress, some says it's calming..some say they're simply addicted. Which of the three sounds better? For me smoking is a waste and a massive wastage(does this word even exist?) it is for the health. Smoking is the worst abuse one could do to their bodies, but these days the incidence of smoking is higher than before and it starts younger. So, I bet we all have heard that saying that goes something like 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away'. Well, it's not just what has been said, it is what has been a proven fact. Exfoliate your skin. What is exfoliating? It means to remove the layers of dead skin on our skin's surface. Every minute thousands of skin cells are dying and shedding off, but because they are minute we don't even realize it, as new skin cells are always regenerating to cover up on the dying ones, we will never notice that our skin is 24 hours falling off and being replaced. The most hard working cell to produce new skin cells is the epidermis, the first layer of skin that also has to endure sun ray, polluted air, all the wears and tears and chemicals is you did applied chemically-based ointments or whatever. How was your day? Did you woke up late and got yourself stuck in a traffic jam? Or did some one cut the queue at the post office? Did your kid threw tantrums and made you lose your temper? Or whatever the situation might be, aren't we all just vulnerable of losing our patience everyday? The cause could be big but it also could be something minor, the truth is , either it's a big or small trigger, it's really up to us. Patience is encouraged, but how many of us remember to keep our cool when we're boiling up? If we want to, we could yoinu know, we just need to always pray that we are given patience to deal with all the problems, all the obstacles, all the challenges and all the people we have to face with. Tell yourself, 'I'm patient, I always will be' and if God willing, InsyaAllah you will be. Patience isn't only an act of positivity. It's what makes an individual a better person. Not only spiritually or emotionally but also physically. It does
